The year 2025 has been a period of significant growth for Tenzing in Thailand. We’re excited to announce the opening of two new offices, one in Pattaya and another in Hua Hin. Both of these beautiful coastal cities are popular choices for expats, whether they’re enjoying retirement or building a career.
While we are proud to offer top-notch insurance and investment solutions, our mission at Tenzing goes beyond simply selling products. We believe in being an active and supportive part of the expat community. We’re dedicated to building genuine relationships with our clients and the wider community, and that often means getting involved in the local social scene.
We’re fortunate to have friends who are sporting legends, many of whom live in or frequently visit Thailand. Tenzing loves to support and sponsor events with these talented individuals.
One such legend is Brian Jacks. A bronze medalist at the 1972 Munich Olympics, Brian is a beloved resident of Pattaya and a true gentleman. Affectionately known as the “King of the Dips,” he’s a familiar face to many British readers who remember him from the classic TV show Superstars. Earlier in 2025, Tenzing was proud to sponsor a charity golf event hosted by Brian that raised over ฿390,000 for a local charity. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Brian regularly joins our monthly golf days, held in partnership with Pattaya Sports Hub and the Avani resort. We’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming golf legend Steve Richardson and snooker world champion Ken Doherty to our recent golf events.
For those who prefer a different kind of cue sport, Tenzing also hosts special pool evenings with snooker greats Ken Doherty and Jimmy “the Whirlwind” White. These events give members of the public a unique opportunity to play a game of pool against a legend.
Beyond the great feedback we get from these fun nights, these events have a strong charitable focus. In 2025 alone, we’ve helped raise thousands of US dollars for wonderful local causes like the Hands Across the Water and the Father Ray Foundation.
