Tenzing Pacific Services was founded on the principles of protection and growth of our clients assets. We provide accountable advice and objective recommendations regarding insurance (health, life, business) and investment solutions from top-tier providers. Our independence from insurance companies and financial institutions makes it possible for us to always prioritize our clients’ needs. This means YOU are our priority and YOUR needs take precedence over anything else. 

They say there is power in a name.

Our company name, “Tenzing Pacific” is inspired by Tenzing Norgay, the sherpa who guided Sir Edmund Hillary on the first successful summit of Mt. Everest.

Our name combines Hillary’s birthplace at sea level on the Pacific coast of New Zealand and Tenzing’s guiding legacy.

Our name symbolizes our dedication and commitment to safeguarding our clients, guiding them to protect and grow their assets while mitigating their risks, supporting them to achieve their goals, mirroring the journey from sea level to the summit of the world’s highest mountain.

A Legacy of Protection and Growth

Founded in 2012 by Shane Dillon and David Jackson, Tenzing Pacific Services emerged from a vision to simplify the complex world of insurance and investment in Southeast Asia. Recognizing the region’s immense potential, they established a company dedicated to providing tailored solutions that safeguard clients’ assets and empower their financial future.

Building a Strong Foundation

2012: First office opened in Vietnam, establishing Tenzing Pacific as a trusted advisor with a focus on strong client relationships.

2014: Quinn Miller joins Tenzing Pacific, becoming the Managing Partner and leading the company’s rapid growth over the next decade.

Expanding Horizons to Hong Kong

2016: Tenzing Pacific Services expanded its reach to Hong Kong, positioning itself to serve a wider clientele and tap into the dynamic markets of Southeast Asia.

A  New Chapter in Thailand

2018: Craig McAvinue joins Tenzing Pacific to grow the financial services advisory business, becoming a company Director in 2020 and the Managing Director in 2023.

2021: Tenzing Pacific Services further solidified its regional footprint with the opening of a new office in Thailand. This new market expanded the company’s focus on investment products and insurance services, offering a comprehensive suite of solutions to meet the evolving needs of their clients.

2024: The company launches specialized business units Employee Benefits Asia (EB-Asia) and General Insurance Asia (GI-Asia), building specialist teams of expert insurance brokers to help their clients with their evolving insurance needs.
